About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Agricultural Scientist to join their research and development team, working on a hybrid basis from Derby . You will contribute to innovative projects focused on improving crop yields, developing sustainable farming techniques, and enhancing agricultural resilience. This role involves a blend of laboratory-based research, data analysis, and fieldwork on experimental plots. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and agriculturalists to translate research findings into practical applications for the farming industry. Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments on crop genetics, soil health, and pest management.

- Prepare detailed scientific reports, research papers, and presentations.

Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in agricultural research, either in academia or industry.
- Strong understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency with laboratory techniques and scientific equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
