About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and technically-minded Agricultural Technician to support their farming operations near Birmingham . This role involves assisting in the maintenance and operation of farm equipment, conducting soil and crop analysis, and implementing pest and disease control measures. You will work closely with the farm manager to ensure optimal crop yield and health, utilizing modern agricultural technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of agricultural machinery and vehicles.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of soil and plant samples for quality assessment.
• Implement crop protection strategies, including spraying and integrated pest management.
• Monitor crop growth and health, reporting any issues or anomalies to management.
• Assist with irrigation systems and water management practices.
• Contribute to record-keeping and data entry related to farm activities.

Requirements
