Agricultural Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and hands-on Agricultural Technician to support their operations in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of farm machinery, assisting with crop planting and harvesting, and carrying out routine checks on agricultural systems. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established schedules and procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on farm equipment and facilities.
• Monitor crop growth and health, reporting any issues to the farm manager.
• Assist with livestock management tasks as required, including feeding and health checks.
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in an agricultural or mechanical setting.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
