AI Data Scientist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and analytical AI Data Scientist to join their growing team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify opportunities where AI and machine learning can solve business problems and enhance operational efficiency. You will work with cutting-edge tools and techniques, contributing to the development of innovative AI solutions that provide a competitive edge. The position is based in our Stoke-on-Trent office, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore, clean, and transform large, complex datasets to prepare them for analysis and model building.
• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for various applications, such as classification, regression, and clustering.
• Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of AI solutions.
• Visualize and communicate complex findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role focused on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with SQL and working with databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
