About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their forward-thinking team in Cardiff . In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for the company's AI initiatives. Your work will ensure that our AI systems are developed and deployed responsibly, fairly, and transparently, mitigating risks and building trust with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for new and existing AI projects and provide recommendations.
• Monitor AI systems for bias, fairness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Advise product and engineering teams on ethical considerations throughout the AI development lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Philosophy, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on ethics or technology policy.
• 3+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, data governance, or a related compliance role.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning principles, and their societal implications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
