About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their responsible AI team in Belfast . In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that artificial intelligence technologies are developed and deployed ethically, transparently, and responsibly. You will work to establish and enforce robust governance frameworks, mitigate risks associated with AI, and promote a culture of ethical AI practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain AI ethics policies, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Advise development teams on best practices for fair, unbiased, and transparent AI systems.
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with evolving AI governance standards.
- Facilitate training and awareness programs on AI ethics for employees across the organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Law, Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics or governance.
- Experience in policy development, risk management, or compliance within the technology sector, particularly AI.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, machine learning principles, and their ethical implications.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant ethical AI frameworks and regulations, preferably within the UK or EU context.
