About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and forward-thinking AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their team in Oxford . This role is critical in ensuring that artificial intelligence technologies are developed and deployed responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with evolving regulations. You will work collaboratively with legal, engineering, and product teams to establish robust frameworks and best practices for AI governance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and guidelines for ethical AI development and use.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for AI systems, focusing on fairness, bias, transparency, and accountability.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards related to AI ethics and governance.
• Advise product and engineering teams on ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
• Facilitate discussions and collaborations among stakeholders to promote ethical AI adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Ethics, Policy, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI ethics principles , challenges, and best practices.
• Experience in developing or implementing governance frameworks, policies, or compliance programs.
• Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory landscapes impacting AI.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
