About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled AI Integration Engineer to join their innovative team in Southampton . In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical business applications. You will focus on deploying, integrating, and optimising AI models and platforms into existing software systems and workflows. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for making AI accessible and functional within real-world scenarios. You'll work closely with data scientists and software developers to ensure seamless and effective implementation of AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate AI models and machine learning pipelines into production software applications.
- Develop APIs and microservices to enable interaction with AI functionalities.
- Optimise AI models for performance, latency, and resource utilization in production environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand model requirements and deployment constraints.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for AI-powered applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI system integration and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in software development with proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with deploying and integrating ML models using frameworks like TensorFlow Serving, PyTorch Serve, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and MLOps principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
