About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced AI/ML Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers their advanced artificial intelligence capabilities in Oxford . This role is crucial for providing scalable, reliable, and efficient tools and platforms for data scientists and ML engineers. You will focus on MLOps, data pipelines, compute orchestration, and ensuring the smooth operation of AI development and deployment environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering, DevOps, and experience with ML infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust ML platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML models and applications.
- Implement solutions for data storage, processing, and feature management.
- Automate ML workflows, including training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their infrastructure needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer , DevOps Engineer, or similar role with an ML focus.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
