About the Role
Our client is building a cutting-edge AI platform and is looking for a skilled AI/ML Platform Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh . This role focuses on developing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our advanced machine learning models and AI services. You will be instrumental in creating scalable, reliable, and efficient ML environments, enabling data scientists and engineers to build and deploy models seamlessly. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust ML infrastructure and MLOps pipelines.
- Implement and manage tools for data versioning, model training, experimentation tracking, and deployment.
- Optimize ML workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to understand their platform needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and availability of the AI/ML platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with a focus on ML platforms or MLOps.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
