About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled AI Platform Engineer to join their technology division in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing the infrastructure and tools that power our AI and machine learning development and deployment. This role requires a strong background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and a deep understanding of the needs of AI/ML teams. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our AI platform, enabling faster innovation and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions for our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust AI/ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models, ensuring efficient deployment and monitoring.
- Implement and manage tools for data management, feature stores, model versioning, and experimentation tracking.
- Provide support and guidance to data scientists and ML engineers on platform usage and best practices.
- Optimize platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of AI services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with a focus on building and managing infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for machine learning lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is essential for this role in Wolverhampton .
