About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Platform Engineer to join their innovative team, working remotely from Nottingham . This role is vital for building and maintaining the robust infrastructure that supports our client's advanced artificial intelligence initiatives. You will focus on creating scalable, reliable, and efficient platforms that empower data scientists and ML engineers to develop and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute significantly to the AI & Emerging Technologies landscape from a fully remote position, working with state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (e.g., compute, storage, networking).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and management.
- Implement and optimize tools for data management, model training, and experimentation.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the AI platform.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their platform needs and provide support.
- Automate operational tasks and develop robust monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and workflows.
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
