About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled AI Platform Engineer to build and maintain the scalable infrastructure that powers their advanced AI and machine learning initiatives in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and managing the core platform components that enable data scientists and engineers to build, train, and deploy AI models efficiently. This role requires a strong background in infrastructure, cloud computing, and a solid understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable AI/ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and management.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for AI workloads.
- Provide robust monitoring, logging, and alerting for the AI platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their platform needs and provide support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows is highly desirable.
