About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers their advanced artificial intelligence initiatives in Liverpool . You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling the MLOps pipelines, ensuring robust data management, model deployment, and monitoring capabilities. This role is critical for enabling the company's data scientists and ML engineers to develop and deploy AI solutions efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize the AI/ML platform, including infrastructure, tools, and workflows.
- Implement and maintain robust MLOps practices for CI/CD, model deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their platform needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the AI platform and its components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and MLOps.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycles and deployment challenges.
