About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled AI Platform Engineer to join their distributed engineering team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the scalable infrastructure and tools that power our client's artificial intelligence initiatives. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless development, deployment, and operation of machine learning models and AI services. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to create a robust, efficient, and reliable platform that supports our growing AI capabilities, enabling our data scientists and engineers to innovate rapidly from anywhere in the world. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (e.g., compute, storage, networking).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and AI applications.
- Implement and manage MLOps tools and frameworks to streamline the ML lifecycle.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to improve platform efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of AI services.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their platform needs and provide support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows.
