AI Platform Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers their AI initiatives in Derby . This role is critical for providing a robust, scalable, and efficient platform for data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop, train, and deploy AI models. You will work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud computing, containerization, and MLOps to ensure our AI ecosystem runs smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based AI infrastructure (e.g., using AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and applications.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of AI platforms.
• Automate operational tasks and workflows related to the AI development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to understand their platform needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or MLOps.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with ML workflows and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
