About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced AI Platform Engineer to join their innovative technology team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure that supports their cutting-edge AI and machine learning development efforts. This role is critical for ensuring that their data scientists and ML engineers have the tools and platforms they need to develop, train, and deploy models efficiently. You will play a key part in enabling rapid experimentation and production deployment of advanced AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable AI/ML infrastructure and platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and applications.
- Ensure the performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of the AI platform.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to understand their platform needs and provide solutions.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize the platform's capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or MLOps, with a focus on AI/ML platforms.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD systems.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks.
