Our client is seeking a highly innovative AI Research Scientist to join their dedicated research division in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as reinforcement learning, generative AI, or explainable AI.
• Develop and test novel algorithms and mathematical models to solve complex problems.
• Analyze research results and prepare high-quality publications for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and implement research ideas.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning literature and industry trends.
• Contribute to the intellectual property development and patent filings.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field with a strong research focus.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting independent AI research, evidenced by publications.
• Expertise in at least one core AI domain, such as computer vision , NLP, or robotics.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in research (e.g., Python, C++) and associated ML libraries.
• Strong theoretical foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Ability to present complex research findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
