Our client is seeking a meticulous and skilled AI Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their sophisticated AI infrastructure in Liverpool . Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and related AI infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols for AI systems and data.
- Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the AI and data science teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on managing server environments.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Windows Server.
- Familiarity with network protocols, security principles, and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and hardware requirements (e.g., GPUs) is a strong plus.
