Air Conditioning Engineer

Our Heating and cooling client based in Essex are seeking experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team

Duties

Your day-to-day work will include:

Domestic air conditioning installations

Single and multi-split systems

Commercial air conditioning installations

Servicing and preventative maintenance

Fault finding, breakdowns and repairs

Testing and commissioning

Working independently and alongside other engineers

Dealing professionally with customers on site

The majority of our work is in customers’ homes, so the quality and appearance of the finished installation is extremely important to us.

We expect our engineers to treat every property with respect, work cleanly and leave behind an installation they’re proud to put their name to.

What We’Re Looking For

You must have a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience within the air conditioning industry and be confident carrying out installations from start to finish without constant supervision.

Skills required

Minimum 5 years’ experience on the tools

F-Gas qualification

Strong installation experience

Good fault-finding ability

Experience servicing and repairing AC systems

Full UK driving licence

Good customer service and communication skills

Clean and tidy workmanship

Reliable and punctual

Enthusiastic and positive attitude

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Professional and presentable when dealing with customers

Experience within heating or plumbing is a bonus, but isn’t essential.

Some of the commercial sites and projects we work on operate drug and alcohol testing policies. You must therefore be willing and able to comply with site-specific testing requirements where applicable.

Working Hours

Normal contracted working hours are 8:00am on site until 5:00pm.

Overtime is available for engineers who want additional hours and earning opportunities.
