Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading HVAC / Building Services contractor for an experienced Service Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing team in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with a well-established company, working across a variety of commercial sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a Service Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of a range of air conditioning and HVAC systems.
Your duties will include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
* Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
* Servicing and repairing air conditioning systems
* Working on split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
* Completing service reports and job sheets
* Identifying additional works and reporting recommendations
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations
* Working safely and professionally on client sites
* Building strong relationships with customers and site teams
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Service Air Conditioning Engineer
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience working on VRF/VRV, split and multi-split systems
* F-Gas qualification
* Relevant City & Guilds / NVQ / equivalent HVAC qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
* A professional approach to working on commercial sites
