Air Conditioning Engineer

Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Leighton Buzzard Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 per annum + overtime (DOE) Employment: Full Time

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing HVAC service and maintenance team. This is a hands-on role involving installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems across commercial and industrial client sites. You will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality engineering solutions with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems Diagnose faults and complete repairs on a range of HVAC systems Ensure all work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and compliance Work independently on client sites and collaboratively with wider engineering teams Maintain strong levels of professionalism and customer service at all times Essential Requirements F-Gas Certification (2079) – minimum Level 1 & Level 2 Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in air conditioning / HVAC Strong technical knowledge of installation, servicing, and maintenance Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Full UK driving licence Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check for unescorted access to client sites
