Job Description
We are Daikin D1+ Installers specialising in high-end residential and commercial installations, including concealed ducted systems, bespoke ductwork, splits, multi-split, VRV/VRF, chillers and AHU systems.
We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced UK-based Air Conditioning Installer / Engineer who can deliver work to the highest standard. This is not a trainee position. We offer competitive pay for experienced engineers who demonstrate exceptional technical ability, workmanship and professionalism.
Requirements
*
Minimum 10 years of hands-on air conditioning installation and commissioning experience in the UK.
*
F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential). F-Gas certification alone is not sufficient.
*
NVQ Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems or equivalent.
*
CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
*
Proven experience installing, commissioning and fault-finding split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
*
Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle and confidence using service checkers.
*
Experience fault-finding and testing components on VRV/VRF systems, AHUs and chillers.
*
Competence in pressure testing, vacuuming, charging and commissioning to manufacturer standards.
*
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, refrigerant charts and installation schematics.
*
Excellent attention to detail, reliability, communication and professional conduct.
Desirable Experience
*
PASMA or IPAF certification.
*
Electrical knowledge and experience in servicing and maintaining VRV, chiller or AHU systems.
*
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
*
Manufacturer training certificates, including Daikin or Mitsubishi.
Tools & Equipment
Engineers are expected to have their own hand and service tools, including gauges, vacuum pumps and flaring equipment. A complete professional tool kit and level of experience will be considered when determining salary.
A company van, fuel card and specialist tools may be provided for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities

Install, commission and test split, multi-split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.

Diagnose and rectify faults on VRV/VRF systems, AHUs and chillers.
*
Complete ductwork and condensate routing to a neat, professional standard.
*
Work on premium residential and light commercial projects.
*
Complete digital reports and photographic documentation.
