Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer – Dundee

Location: Dundee (mobile role)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Design, installation, after‑care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including equipment such as cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF indoor and outdoor units, heat recovery units and leak‑testing systems.
• Maintenance, repairs and general air‑conditioning duties; ability to assist with mechanical and plumbing works on site when required.
• Assist with electrical PPM tasks such as emergency lighting tests and small repairs.
• Demonstrate health and safety awareness.
• Desirable: experience with Air Source Heat Pumps; additional training will be provided.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant, including air handling units, associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, and boiler plant (excluding gas‑side pipework and accessories).
• Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems.
• Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuance of written compliance paperwork.
• Maintain on‑site log books, permits and site paperwork, ensuring they are up to date.
• Competent in working on CAFM systems and using a tablet to log jobs and complete compliance paperwork.
• Flexible, good team player, client‑focused; capable of working as part of a mobile team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum). City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred).
• F‑Gas Certificate (C&G 2079 or CITB J11).
• 18th Edition Accreditation is also preferred.
