Air Conditioning Service Manager, based nr Maidstone. £55k+car/allowance+bonus
Are you:
- Keen to run your own service department and help set up a new division?
- An A/C engineer, ideally with supervisory experience, ready to step up into the office and into management? Then this could be for you.
The Role
- You'll be working for a well established HVAC manufacturer, helping them set up a new HVAC and Air Conditioning led service division.
- Initially, you'll be setting up service contracts for existing customers, via meetings, surveys and establishing asset registers for their sites.
- Putting together technical proposals and quotes for planned and reactive maintenance.
- Establishing procedures, maintenance schedules, service programmes and reporting tools.
- Setting up supply chain for equipment, ancillaries and overseeing stock levels.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers. In the short-term, this may include some hands-on work yourself.
- Once the department is established, you'll then help build a team of A/C and service engineers to deliver the service works, overseeing the team in terms of scheduling, training and development.
- Fully supported by an existing internal management team.
The Person
- Air Conditioning Service background, holding a current F-Gas qualification.
- Supervisory experience required, we're looking for an Engineer who is currently or previously running a small team of A/C engineers.
- Equipment biased towards splits, VRF but could develop further into mechanical HVAC.
- Strong on IT systems, you'll be a good communicator, able to manage and motivate a team and enjoy the customer interaction.
- Full driving licence required to visit customers as required.
The Package
A basic salary up to approx c£55k, company vehicle/car allowance, bonus (approx c£5k), 25 days holiday.
The Location
Ideally you'll be based around the Maidstone area, as you'll be office based, plus some working from home and to site. Most sites/contracts will be in and around London, with some UK travel as required
