Join a Global Leader in LogisticsCentric Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Air Import Operator to join our client's busy Air Operations team based at their Heathrow Gateway in Hounslow (TW4) .

The RoleAs an Air Import Operator, you will play a key role in coordinating international import shipments, ensuring documentation is completed accurately, customs requirements are met, and customers receive a first-class service throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage air import shipments from arrival through to final delivery
• Prepare and process Air Waybills (AWBs), customs entries and all required import documentation
• Ensure all customs documentation is completed accurately and in line with current regulations
• Liaise with customers, airlines, overseas agents and internal departments to provide shipment updates
• Track and monitor import shipments, resolving any issues quickly and professionally
• Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data
• Ensure compliance with customs legislation, aviation security requirements and company xwwtmva procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple shipments and deadlines

We're looking for an experienced Air Import professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within Air Freight Import Operations
• Good understanding of import procedures and customs documentation
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service
