About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and attentive Aircraft Cabin Mechanic to join their maintenance team in Plymouth . This role is essential for ensuring the comfort, safety, and functionality of aircraft cabin interiors. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various cabin components, including seating, galleys, lavatories, and interior panels. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical aptitude, a strong understanding of cabin systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship within the demanding aviation environment. You will play a key part in maintaining passenger satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain aircraft cabin interiors, including seats, carpets, overhead bins, galleys, and lavatory systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of cabin components, such as upholstery, lighting, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabin systems, ensuring all functionalities meet operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with cabin safety regulations and interior maintenance standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely aircraft turnaround.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Cabin Mechanic , or a related trade with transferable skills (e.g., upholstery, carpentry, electrical repairs).
• Familiarity with aircraft cabin systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working within a regulated environment, such as aviation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
