Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical system schematics, wiring harnesses, and component layouts for aircraft applications.
• Perform electrical load analysis, power distribution design, and signal integrity analysis.
• Select appropriate electrical components, materials, and connectors based on performance and environmental requirements.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development, testing, and production phases, often in a remote capacity .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, power generation, distribution, and avionics.
• Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design (e.g., SOLIDWORKS Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical) and simulation tools.
• Understanding of aerospace standards (e.g., ARP4754, DO-254) and certification processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
