About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Engineer to join their dedicated team in Liverpool . This role is integral to the design, integration, testing, and support of complex electrical systems on board aircraft. You will ensure that all electrical systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical system modifications and upgrades for aircraft.
• Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of electrical system faults and performance issues.
• Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Perform system integration testing and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and airworthiness requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and avionics specialists, on system development projects.
• Ensure all work adheres to strict aviation safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in aircraft electrical systems design, integration, or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, wiring, circuit protection, and control systems in an aerospace context.
• Familiarity with relevant aviation standards and regulations (e.g., ARP4754, DO-160 ).
• Proficiency in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical) and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
