About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electrical Systems Technician to join their maintenance facility in Liverpool . This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and avionics systems on various aircraft types. You will work with cutting-edge technology, ensuring the reliability and safety of critical aircraft systems. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of electrical principles, wiring diagrams, and aviation regulations, contributing directly to the airworthiness of the fleet operating from Liverpool .

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, lighting, and avionics.
• Interpret and follow complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Perform functional tests and checkouts of installed systems to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, company standards, and safety procedures.
• Document all maintenance actions accurately and thoroughly in the aircraft logbooks and maintenance records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Electrical Technician or Avionics Technician.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical theory, AC/DC power systems, and electronic principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment for electrical and avionics systems.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
