About the Role
Our client is seeking a vigilant and experienced Aircraft Inspector to join their vital team in Nottingham . This role is paramount in ensuring that all maintenance, repair, and modification work performed on aircraft adheres strictly to aviation regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications. You will conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, components, and completed work to verify airworthiness and compliance. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of aviation maintenance processes, and a commitment to upholding the highest safety benchmarks within the Nottingham aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of aircraft structures, systems, and components after maintenance or repair activities.
- Verify that all work performed complies with approved data, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all inspection activities and findings.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, non-conformances, or safety hazards encountered during inspections.
- Conduct audits of maintenance processes and personnel to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Inspector or in a closely related aircraft maintenance role.
- Relevant aviation maintenance certifications and qualifications (e.g., EASA Part-66).
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and associated maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and regulatory documents.
