Aircraft Interior Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Interior Technician for their operations in Nottingham . This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, safety, and passenger comfort. You will work with a variety of materials and systems, from seating and galleys to entertainment systems and emergency equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about enhancing the passenger experience through meticulous craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain aircraft interior components, including seats, carpets, sidewalls, overhead bins, and galleys.
• Perform modifications and refurbishments to cabin interiors as per design specifications and client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair integrated cabin systems, such as in-flight entertainment (IFE) and lighting.
• Ensure all interior work complies with aviation safety regulations and airworthiness standards.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear or damage, and plan necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all interior maintenance and repair activities.

Requirements

• Experience as an Aircraft Interior Technician or in a related field such as upholstery, carpentry, or refurbishment.
• Proficiency in working with various interior materials, including fabrics, composites, and plastics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for interior components.
• Experience with basic electrical systems related to cabin lighting and entertainment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills for fitting and repair tasks in Nottingham .
