About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Aircraft Interiors Designer to join their team in Norwich . This hybrid role allows for a dynamic work environment, blending on-site creative workshops and client consultations with remote design execution. You will be responsible for designing bespoke and functional interior spaces for aircraft, focusing on passenger comfort, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design aircraft cabin interiors, including seating arrangements, galleys, lavatories, and entertainment systems.
• Develop 3D models, renderings, and detailed drawings to effectively communicate design proposals.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering durability, weight, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and client representatives to ensure design feasibility and aesthetic integrity.
• Stay updated on trends in interior design, ergonomics, and passenger experience within the aviation industry.
• Prepare design documentation for client presentations and manufacturing specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aircraft interior design or high-end interior architecture/design.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, V-Ray).
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, materials, and cabin safety regulations in aviation.
• Excellent visual communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and on-site collaboration.
