About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join their reputable engineering team based at a key facility in Birmingham . You will play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness and operational integrity of a diverse fleet of aircraft. This hands-on position involves performing routine checks, scheduled maintenance, and unscheduled repairs to the highest industry standards. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated aviation professionals, contributing to the safety and reliability of flight operations, and upholding the stringent quality and safety protocols expected within the aviation sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled maintenance checks and inspections on aircraft airframes, engines, and systems.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of aircraft mechanical and electrical faults.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide maintenance tasks.
• Complete accurate and detailed maintenance records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with flight crews and operations personnel to address aircraft issues efficiently.

Requirements

• Relevant EASA Part-66 AML (Aircraft Maintenance License) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in aircraft line or base maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and powerplants.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
