About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Aircraft Mechanic specializing in Line Maintenance to join their team at Edinburgh Airport. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for performing essential checks, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on aircraft between flights, ensuring they are safe and ready for their next journey. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, often under time pressure, to support flight schedules and maintain the highest standards of airworthiness. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-flight, transit, and post-flight inspections of aircraft.
• Perform scheduled line maintenance tasks, including servicing, lubrication, and component checks.
• Troubleshoot and rectify minor defects and malfunctions in aircraft systems.
• Replace line-replaceable units (LRUs) as required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately logged and comply with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic with a focus on line maintenance.
• Relevant aviation maintenance certifications (e.g., EASA Part-66 basic license or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, engines, and airframes.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and carry out maintenance procedures correctly.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 operations in Edinburgh .
