About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join their maintenance team based in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft to ensure airworthiness and operational safety. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced MRO environment, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of the fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft airframes and associated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide maintenance activities.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance performed in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized condition.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or Aircraft Technician.
- Solid understanding of aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints effectively.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools specific to aircraft maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- Relevant aviation maintenance certifications or apprenticeship qualification is advantageous.
