About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Performance Analyst to join their technical team in Oxford . This role is crucial for optimising aircraft flight operations, fuel efficiency, and payload capabilities. You will analyse flight data, develop performance models, and provide expert recommendations to flight operations and engineering departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and economical flight planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse aircraft performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in fuel efficiency and operational performance.
- Develop and validate aircraft performance models and flight planning tools.
- Provide technical support and guidance on aircraft performance to flight crews, dispatchers, and engineering teams.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to fuel consumption, emissions, and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of advancements in aircraft technology and regulatory changes impacting flight performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in aircraft performance analysis, flight operations, or a related aviation technical role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
