Key Responsibilities
- Analyze flight data to assess aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, and adherence to operational parameters.
- Develop and refine mathematical models for aircraft performance prediction, including takeoff, climb, cruise, and landing phases.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on aircraft performance findings and recommendations for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with flight operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement performance-enhancing strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in aerodynamics, propulsion, and aircraft systems impacting performance.
- Utilize specialized software and tools for data analysis, simulation, and performance calculations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Performance Engineer or in a similar analytical role within aviation.
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and aircraft systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis and mathematical modeling, with experience in relevant software (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
