About the Role

Our client, a leading aviation maintenance organisation, is seeking a diligent Aircraft Quality Inspector to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is essential for upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance by inspecting aircraft and components during maintenance. You will ensure that all work performed meets regulatory requirements and company quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of aviation regulations, and a commitment to maintaining airworthiness. This is a vital position within the operational framework of a busy MRO facility in Portsmouth .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance processes.
• Verify compliance with EASA, CAA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate, complete, and correctly filed.
• Identify and report non-conformances and deviations from quality standards.
• Approve or reject work based on inspection findings and technical specifications.
• Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and regulatory personnel on quality matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Quality Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, EASA Part 145).
• Experience in reading and interpreting aircraft technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make critical quality decisions.
