About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Rigging Specialist to join their maintenance and overhaul team in Norwich . This specialized role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and adjustment of aircraft control systems, including flight controls, landing gear, and related mechanisms. You will ensure these critical systems operate smoothly and safely, adhering to stringent aviation standards. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and adjust aircraft control systems, such as flight control surfaces, cables, pulleys, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on landing gear, braking systems, and associated components.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide rigging and repair work.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within control systems, identifying and rectifying faults.
- Ensure all rigging and control system work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an Aircraft Rigging Specialist or in a similar mechanical maintenance role within aviation.
- Proficiency in inspecting, adjusting, and repairing mechanical control systems on aircraft.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Skilled in the use of specialized tools and equipment for rigging and mechanical adjustments.
- A strong understanding of aircraft systems and a commitment to precision and safety.
