You will perform complex stress analysis, contribute to design improvements, and validate structural performance through advanced modeling and testing. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed stress analysis and structural integrity assessments for aircraft components and assemblies using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
- Validate analytical results through component testing and data interpretation.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize structural designs for weight reduction and performance enhancement.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal reviews and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure all structural design and analysis activities comply with relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
- Participate in failure investigations and recommend solutions for structural issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft stress analysis or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in FEA software such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of materials science, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and structural dynamics.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and certification processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
