About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Aircraft Structures Engineer to join their team in Manchester . Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis of aircraft components and assemblies using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
• Design and develop new structural components and modifications, optimizing for weight, strength, and manufacturability.
• Conduct material selection and testing, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and support efficient production.
• Investigate structural failures or anomalies, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for design reviews and regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Engineer or similar role in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ANSYS, Nastran, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and fatigue/fracture mechanics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
