Our client is actively seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join their operational base in Birmingham . This role is fundamental to maintaining the integrity and airworthiness of our fleet, focusing on the structural components of various aircraft. You will be responsible for executing precise repair and modification work, ensuring all structural elements meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of aircraft airframes for damage, corrosion, and wear.
- Perform structural repairs, including composite, sheet metal, and bonded repairs, following approved data and techniques.
- Interpret structural repair manuals and engineering drawings to guide repair processes accurately.
- Fabricate and install structural components as required for maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all structural work is documented meticulously and complies with aviation authority regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician .
- Proficiency in sheet metal work, composite repair, and general airframe structural maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and repair schemes.
- Familiarity with various aircraft types and their specific structural requirements.
