About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Aircraft Structures Technician to join their operational base in Cardiff , Wales. This role is fundamental to maintaining the structural integrity of our aircraft fleet, ensuring compliance with all safety and airworthiness directives. You will work with a variety of materials and techniques to perform repairs and modifications. This is a hands-on position for an individual passionate about aviation mechanics and committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in the dynamic environment of Cardiff .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, modifications, and overhauls on aircraft structural components using approved methods and materials.
• Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft structures to identify damage, corrosion, or fatigue.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide repair procedures.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment for structural repairs, including welding and fabrication.
• Document all maintenance actions accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in working with various aircraft materials, including composites, aluminium, and steel.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural repair techniques and principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality, with excellent attention to detail.
