About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and meticulous Aircraft Structures Technician to join their maintenance and repair facility in Derby . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the structural integrity of aircraft airframes. You will work with a variety of materials and tools to ensure aircraft meet stringent airworthiness standards. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural inspections of aircraft airframes using various NDT methods.
• Repair and replace damaged or corroded aircraft structural components according to approved data.
• Work with a range of materials including aluminum alloys, composites, and titanium.
• Interpret engineering drawings, structural repair manuals, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all structural work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Document all repairs and modifications accurately in the relevant aircraft records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in sheet metal work, composite repair, and structural component replacement.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural components and materials.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in aviation maintenance.
• Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in aircraft structures maintenance.
