About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Structures Technician to join their maintenance team in Glasgow . This role involves performing repairs, modifications, and maintenance on aircraft airframes and structural components to ensure airworthiness and structural integrity. You will work with a variety of materials and techniques, adhering strictly to technical specifications and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures for damage, wear, and corrosion, performing necessary repairs and modifications.
• Carry out structural repairs using approved methods, materials, and techniques.
• Fit and assemble structural components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, modifications, and inspections conducted.
• Operate and maintain specialist tools and equipment used in structural repair.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician or similar role.
• Skilled in metalwork, composite repair, and riveting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural integrity and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures relevant to an aviation maintenance environment.
