Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate various aircraft systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and environmental control systems.
• Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to predict and verify system performance.
• Develop and execute test plans for system validation and verification, both in simulation and on-aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system integration issues during development and production phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and certification departments.
• Ensure all system designs comply with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience as an Aircraft Systems Engineer or in a similar aerospace engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft system design principles and integration methodologies.
• Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, DOORS).
• Familiarity with relevant aerospace standards and certification processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required for this position in Edinburgh .
