About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Aircraft Systems Engineer to join their engineering hub in Manchester . You will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of complex aircraft systems, including avionics, power, and environmental control systems. This role requires a proactive engineer who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, tackling challenging technical problems to ensure the highest levels of performance, reliability, and safety. You will contribute to cutting-edge projects, pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology and shaping the future of flight.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate aircraft systems according to project specifications and airworthiness requirements.
- Integrate new systems with existing aircraft platforms, ensuring seamless operation.
- Conduct system testing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting of complex issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support aircraft assembly and certification.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and test procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Significant experience in aircraft systems design, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to engineering challenges.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
