About the Role
Our client is searching for a highly competent Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer to join their advanced engineering team in Wolverhampton . This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of various complex systems aboard aircraft. You will be involved from the initial design phases through to testing and validation, ensuring all systems work harmoniously and meet stringent performance and safety requirements. This position demands a strong technical aptitude and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the integration of diverse aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, hydraulic, and environmental control systems.
- Develop system integration plans, test procedures, and validation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues during design, manufacturing, and flight testing phases.
- Collaborate with system designers, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure compatibility.
- Perform system-level testing and performance analysis, documenting results and recommending improvements.
- Ensure all integration activities comply with relevant aerospace standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in aircraft systems engineering and integration.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems architecture and interdependencies.
- Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant aviation standards and certification processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
