Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for aircraft systems, adhering to strict safety and coding standards (e.g., DO-178C).
• Perform software integration and testing on development rigs and actual aircraft systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and hardware engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably within the aerospace or defence industry.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Ada.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded development tools.
• Understanding of avionics systems and aerospace software development lifecycle and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
